Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of MorningStar Family Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. We maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed as a way to ensure that we can let as many people of the community as possible know about church communication.
MorningStar Family Church is thrilled to be a part of spreading the word of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and being there to support them. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music. Some play their instruments and some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry at MorningStar Family Church by using their talents and gifts to glorify God. Follow this link to learn more about our Worship Ministry.
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. MorningStar Family Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of prayer warriors gather to pray and lay hands on those in need. Throughout the week, our Prayer Warrior team prays for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. There is a process we will be setting up in the future where someone, who would like to become a prayer warrior, can go through to learn the ways of prayer.
The usher team at MorningStar Family Church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, helping visitors, answering questions, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.
